Orchidia leads dry eye market in Egypt

According to IMS research company data for the first semester of 2017, Orchidia has acquired a market share of 36.8% of the total market for dry eye products, to lead this segment with sales of 50 million in the first semester of the year.

This great success owed to Solofresh product that was launched at the beginning of this year, achieving 36 million EGP during the first semester with a market share of 26.4% of the total dry eye products market sales.

Orchidia seeks to maintain the lead in this market by targeting 50% of market share during the next years, by offering a set of single-dose eye drops for the first time in the Egyptian market.
