Duoeffectum

Composition

- Ofloxacin 3 mg

- Dexamethasone 1 mg

- Benzalkonium Chloride 0.06 mg

Indications

Duoeffectum is indicated for corticosteroid responsive conditions of conjunctiva and cornea and for inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the globe bacterial infections or risk of bacterial infection. Also indicated in chronic anterior uveitis, corneal injury from chemical radiation or thermal burns or from penetration of foreign bodies, and for post-operative cataract, trabeculectomy and refractive surgeries

Dosage

Apply 1 to 2 drops into each eye every 4 to 6 hours for the first 2 days, then reduce frequency as infection and inflammation are controlled and continue for 48 hours after healing
