Cataract

Cataract is a disease that affects the normal eye lens posterior to the pupil, and could affect one or both eyes. It leads to the lens opacity, loss of its transparency and painless diminution of vision. Patients with cataract have photosensitivity with bad night vision. Cataract differs from glaucoma and usually develops slowly.

The Symptoms usually include: loss of color vision, blurry vision, halos around light, problems of bright light and night vision. These symptoms negatively affect patients leading to difficulties during driving, reading and recognizing people and their faces.
