Comment établir une routine de soins de la peau

The key to good skin

Everyone has one thing that they are passionate about and want to work on. Some people want to work on having a toned body while others might be going after a flawless glowing skin. A lot of effort and process goes into achieving these goals. For instance, having good skin products are not enough to have a healthy skin. For your products and efforts to work effectively, there are a lot of things that go into it. The first step towards getting this is a good skin care routine. Your routine will depend on your skin type, the ingredients and formulations of your products, and the time of day. Your DNA is not responsible for your good skin, you and your routine is responsible for keeping it alive. Our everyday lives and routine can make or break your skin.

What does a good skin care routine consists?

Since every person have a different skin type and concerns, the requirements vary from person to person. Dry skin is usually tight and needs extra care as it can get red and wrinkly. Oily skin has large pores and tends to get more acne and blackheads and needs extra care. Normal or combination skin is relatively easy to work with and just needs good circulation and hydration. Sensitive skin is very hard to work with as it is delicate and can easily be harmed. There are a few things that are basic requirements and needs for every skin so let’s discuss them in an order they should be used:

  1. Cleanser: This can be in the foam of a face wash, micellar water or cleanser which are available in foams and cream forms. This will help remove dirt from your face and clean your pores.
  2. Toner: This is something that usually people skip but is very important as it removes dead skin cells and hydrates the skin evenly.
  3. Serums: There are a lot of serums that are for different purposes so according to your skin type you need to decide one and then apply it evenly on your face. There are hydrating serums, exfoliating serums and much more. Whatever you’re using, always remember: Water-based serums should go underneath moisturizer; oil-based serums should be applied after moisturizer.
  4. Eye cream: Your eyes are the key to making you look fresh so they need to be moisturized as well which can help to make your eyes look like puffy and helps remove dark circles.
  5. Spot treatment: This is not necessary for everyone but can be really helpful for people who have acne scars or pigmentation. This just keeps your skin calm and hydrated.
  6. Moisturizer: This is an essential that should not be missed no matter what type of skin you have as with the serums and toner that are chemical based, you need to put a protective layer and locks everything you have applied.

How to build a skincare routine?

I know every is in a hurry to get the perfect glowing skin but one thing we all need to realize is that building a skincare routine and then following it is a proper task. So let’s discuss a few pointers into how you can build and follow one.

  • Give it time. You should not rush into it and apply everything on to your face and hope for things to work out as these your skin takes time to adapt and regenerate. It will take a while for you to even find the perfect serum/oil/ toner/ moisturizer for your skin too hence, patience is key.
  • Be regular. Your skin care routine will not have the same effect and all the steps you follow will actually take much more time to act if you do not act on them daily and religiously.
  • Do not be afraid to ask for help. Building a good skin care routine takes much more than just choosing a product hence seeking professional help like dermatologists is going to be a good thing in your favor as they will be able to guide you better accordingly.
  • Sun screen will weigh in as your super hero in the end. Trust me, this is something essential in building a skin care routine as otherwise everything else will be useless.
