During the visit, the Minister reviewed the factory’s manufacturing capabilities. The facility is built on an area of 6,000 square meters, with a capital of EGP 500 million, while its total investments exceed EGP 2.07 billion. It has a production capacity of up to 90 million units annually, with a local content ratio of 80%.
The tour also included an inspection of several key production lines, including eye drop filling machines, the ointment preparation, filling, and packaging line, as well as the single-dose eye drop manufacturing machine, in addition to a mini exhibition showcasing the company’s flagship products.
The factory provides 630 direct job opportunities, while the company’s exports reached EGP 620 million in 2025, reflecting its role in supporting the state’s direction toward enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian pharmaceutical industries and increasing export volumes.
The visit comes within the framework of the state’s commitment to supporting the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector as one of the vital industrial sectors, and strengthening its ability to meet the needs of the local market while expanding into regional and international markets.
